“Outspoken, adventurous, proud and audacious – one of the most happening cities in Europe.
It is here where the Sava River meets the Danube, contemplative parkland nudges hectic urban sprawl, and old-world culture gives way to new-world nightlife…
Belgrade literally translates as ‘White City’, but Serbia’s colorful capital is red hot.”
(lonelyplanet.com)

The capital of Serbia is the third largest city in SEE (after Istanbul and Athens) and one of the oldest, with over 7 000 years of staggering history. Settled on the crossroad of Eastern and Western Europe, Belgrade is also known as the “Door to Central Europe” and the “Gateway to the Balkans”. The city itself is a unique museum of its own history but apart from this, Belgrade is also well known for its vibrant nightlife, inspirational gastronomy and über-friendly people.

In 2006 Financial Times’ magazine Foreign Direct Investment awarded Belgrade the title of City of the Future of Southern Europe and in 2013 the city was proclaimed for the best tourist place in South Eastern Europe (SEE).
