About the IoT Week

The IoT Week is the most important yearly conference organized on a yearly basis by the IoT Forum since 2011. The last editions attracted about 500 participants specialized in the IoT domain, including research centres, research projects, large industries, SMEs, developers, standards development organizations and policy makers, including the European Commission.

The IoT Forum (Internet of Things International Forum) is a fully independent member-driven organization which aims at:
  • Promoting international dialogue and cooperation on the Internet of Things;
  • Organizing events and conferences, such as the IoT Week;
  • Developing activities and synergies with and among its members.

It supports the development of a worldwide Internet of Things community, by promoting international dialogue and cooperation between relevant stakeholders from research, industry, and public administrations. More information at IoT Forum.

The Organizing Committee of the IoT Week 2017 comprises: the IoT Forum, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO) represented by the HEPIA, and Mandat International.
